At the Department of Integrative Physiology, we study organisms as functioning systems of molecules, cells, tissues and organs, with an emphasis on whole-body function and its applications to human health and disease. A graduate degree in integrative physiology provides opportunities for careers in academia, industry and the health professions.
Our department offers a Master of Science (MS) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). The master鈥檚 degree may be pursued on its own or in combination with a bachelor's degree through the Bachelor鈥檚鈥揂ccelerated Master鈥檚 (BAM) degree program.
