At CU Boulder, we strive to provide exceptional and memorable living environments to our students, and you can learn all of our on-campus housing opportunitieson the Housing & Dining website. If you’re unsure of your choices, you can start byexploringyour optionsto help identify what type of student you are and what we offer based on your student profile.

One of the most important steps in choosing your housing is deciding what type of community aligns with your interests. You have the option of living in a Residential Academic Program (RAP), Living and Learning Community (LLC), traditional community or other in-hall involvement opportunities. RAPs are communities where students attend smaller in-hall classes that reinforce an academic theme. LLCs are communities where students live in the same hall and engage in activities that reinforce a particular academic theme or general interest. Traditional communities are where students of diverse academic and social interests live in the same hall and engage in a traditional residence hall experience.
