Art Practices (B.A.) Academic Course Map
The Bachelor of Arts in Art Practices (ARTS) at CU Boulder allows students to explore their interests and refine their skills in ceramics, Integrated Media Arts Practices/ IMAP (photography, digital media, video, integrated arts), painting and drawing, printmaking, and sculpture and post-studio practice. Students gain a broad understanding of the field of contemporary art and experience in contemporary art practices while pursuing a liberal arts degree at the university.

Admission Requirements
Students who begin at a babyÖ±²¥app Community College can transfer directly to CU Boulder to finish their degree in any of the programs offered by the College of Arts and Sciences. To graduate in a 4-year time frame, it is important that students follow the recommended schedule. Students who wish to continue their education at the community college beyond the number of credits specified below should explore with both community college and CU Boulder staff how their graduation timeline, COF stipend, and financial aid will be affected.

Your community college must offer an Associate of Arts degree with Designation (DwD) in Studio Art to use this transfer guide.
Portfolio submission is NOT required to declare Art Practices as a Bachleor of Arts major, but a portfolio and other materials would be required to be admitted to the Bachleor of Fine Arts program.
