Dee Professor of American Democracy at Notre Dame, is the recipient of a Carnegie Fellowship to study the political implications of secularism. He and a collaborating scholar plan to publish the results of their research in a book titled <em>Godless Politics.</em></p><p>Campbell’s most recent book is&nbsp;<em>Seeking the Promised Land: Mormons and American Politics</em>&nbsp;(with John Green and Quin Monson). Scott Adler, CU Boulder professor of political science and director of the <a href="http://www.colorado.edu/lab/aprl/" rel="nofollow">American Politics Research Lab</a>, which is sponsoring the event, has asked the panelists to consider two main sets of questions:</p><ol><li>How did we end up with this result? What happened in the electorate?
