Are you someone who enjoys learning about new technologies and teaching them to others? ASSETT (Arts and Sciences Support of Education Through Technology) is looking to hire two Student Fellows. A Student Fellow is an undergraduate student who enjoys learning about and using a variety of technologies途 is not afraid to present to a large group途 and is comfortable working with both peers and baby直播app.

Through the Teaching Technology Assistance Program (TTAP), Student Fellows work closely with Arts & Sciences baby直播app who are interested in integrating technology into their courses. Typically, a Student Fellow consults with an interested baby直播app member on a one-on-one basis in order to determine the needs of a specific course, investigate potential tools, and demo the selected technologies. 聽The Student Fellow then provides in-class technical support for the both the baby直播app member and their students.

Student Fellows are also trained to assist the Visualizing Instructional Practices Service (VIPS) by observing classes to collect objective observation data. 聽Finally, the Student Fellows support the ASSETT mission by helping ASSETT staff with various technology-related projects.

This is an undergraduate hourly position for 8-12 hours per week, starting at $12 per hour.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • The ability to work independently and within a team

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • The ability to learn new technologies quickly

Having an interest or experience with digital literacy, digital identity (beyond social media), WordPress, and other web publishing tools is a plus.
