These apps have been used in enterprise settings as well as been downloaded millions of times from the Apple App Store and Google Play. Marc Rabinowitz聽- Marc Rabinowitz is a Sr. Design Manager at Squarespace where he leads the design and experience strategy of the full suite of marketing tools across their evolving product ecosystem. Previously, as an Experience Strategy Director at Code and Theory he co-led the team of ~30 experience strategists & interaction designers and the design of digital products & brand experiences across platforms. He also serves as VP Operations on the AIGA NY Executive Board of Directors and teaches design entrepreneurs at the School of Visual Arts MFA Design program.

Engaging Recovery Allison Casey Exercise and athletic activities allow us to become stronger, bigger, and more efficient. When we feel the fatigue from these exercises it acts as a signal for our bodies to improve, however, it is easy to disrupt this process with too much exercise or a lack of rest and recovery. Overtraining can undo all the hard work you put in and leave you feeling tired and irritable and even cause weight gain.Unfortunately many athletes are unaware of what they should be doing to adequately recover. Recovery needs to be taken as seriously as workouts themselves because it allows the body to repair and strengthen.

The Yggdrasil Project Ally Fowler The Yggdrasil Project uses storytelling, tips for living a sustainable lifestyle, and digestible environmental research to inspire readers to explore and protect the environment. The project鈥檚 physical component, lanterns, are a concrete representation and reminder of this message.
ATLAS Archive Kyle Faucher A web app for Atlas students to share their projects, see others鈥 projects, and learn from each other, serving as both a database of projects created within the Atlas program, and a platform for building community.
Fish City Alex Fiel An online education platform centered around connecting existing educational resources into a navigable 鈥渃ity鈥 visualization.

Ben Wander聽- Ben Wander is a game designer, writer, programmer, and teacher with over a decade of industry experience. He now makes indie games, including the critically acclaimed A Case of Distrust, and the upcoming Airborne Kingdom.

Pete Angstadt聽- Pete Angstadt crafts niche computer entertainments and lives with his wife in children in a constant state of simultaneous joy and frustration

Peter Gyory聽- Peter Gyory received a Bachelor of Science degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology in game design and development. After graduation, he worked for the digital agency, Sapient Razorfish, as an interactive developer. He also became an avid open-source software advocate during his time at RIT and hosts all of his personal work on Github so that others can freely build upon it. While in the ATLAS CTD program, where he received an MS in 2019, Peter focused on game development, creating games and experiences that help people both laugh and learn. He is continuing his studies as an ATLAS PhD student, working with Professor Ellen Do.

Mind's Garden Kara Metcalfe + Jared Myers + Peter Rosenthal Mind鈥檚 Garden is a musical exploration game and immersive audio visualizer. As the player searches for orbs with pieces of music attached, they explore a world that constantly reacts to the music around them.

Joana has guest lectured at the School of Visual Arts and taught at Parsons The New School for Design. Alex Darby聽- Alex Darby is an Organizational Strategist, business advisor, and creative coach with over fifteen years experience working with cultural organizations, small businesses, artists, and creative entrepreneurs. She is the Founder of Darby Studios, specializing in organizational strategy and creative production for artists and creative professionals with a focus on the intersection of art and tech. Alex was previously Director of Strategic Operations at NEW INC, the New Museum of Contemporary Art鈥檚 incubator for art, technology, and design. She's an entrepreneur, creative producer and speculative jeweler. Alex was born and raised in Sydney, Australia and now lives and works in NYC.

Grove Abby Rinerson Grove is a collection of portraits, illustrated and laser etched on pine, designed to convey the individuality of each subject.
Flow Room Nate Bennett + Elsa Roeber Using the magic of physical computing and nature-based sensory experiences, Flow Room provides a space on the CU Boulder campus to center yourself and find a sense of calm. Stay for as long as you like 鈥 there鈥檚 no wrong way to explore it.
Whisp: Interactive Homeware Catalogue Jolie Klefekeer Whisp is a speculative design project that takes the form of a website for an imagined, future subscription service that provides users with a monthly rotation of homeware products that are curated to be sensuously and aesthetically interesting.
In the Round Sara St. Clair My thesis project is a participatory sculpture and installation. Through the design of space, sound, and object, I will create the space for participants to slow down, and appreciate others of our own species.
The Encroaching Fog of Language Xavier Corr A generative art book and installation questioning viewers鈥 conceptions of language and the capacity of technology to create compelling art.

Ryan Viglizzo聽Ryan Viglizzo is Senior Design Lead at Mount Sinai. He is a designer, musician, and ultra-distance athlete. As an interaction/service designer with 12+ years of experience, he has launched 22+ digital and physical products in spaces of health, social impact, and mass-market consumer electronics. Previously, Ryan has worked at PARC, Ammunition Group, Frog Design, T4D (a lab focused on designs for social good), and Databetes (A start-up focused on digital health for type 1 diabetics- acquired by Dexcom). His most recent work has been focused on improving the patient/provider/researcher experience inside of large health systems.

Self Portrait Sophie Adams + Divya Bandreddi + Summer Thomas 鈥淪elf Portrait鈥 is a fashion-focused denim jacket that uses color-changing pigment and fiber optics to dynamically change the design while being worn. Self Portrait was created in response to the gap of fashion-focused wearable technology. We have each created a design to reflect our own personal style through our jackets
Touch the World Kenny Cox Geography education is ineffective and for children who are blind is essentially nonexistent. Touch the World is taking design aspects from the blind and accessibility community to create an interactive tactile world map to improve geography learning one region at a time.
Empathetic Design and Pediatric Anesthesiology Max Bublitz Receiving anesthesia is incredibly stressful for children. The goal of this project was to combat that anxiety by creating an interactive experience that encourages breathing.
Future Motion Tristan Hanna + Xander Nelson Future Motion is a vehicle interface emulator that uses gesture controls and steering wheel buttons to interact with the vehicle鈥檚 interface.
Do You Like My Hat? Campbell White Do You Like My Hat is a large-scale, interactive art piece for kids based on P.D. Eastman鈥檚 1961 book 鈥淕o, Dog. Go!鈥 with a focus on sound, materiality, design, and encouraging users to be hands on.

Jayson Belt聽- Over a decade of television experience has seen Jayson work on everything from American Idol and The Voice to Hollywood Game Night and So You Think You Can Dance. Beginning as an editor, Jayson focused on storytelling, crafting mini-biographies for show contestants and a variety of celebrities from Jennifer Garner to Jimmy Iovine. Transitioning from postproduction to production has seen him help craft NBC鈥檚 Hollywood Game Night as Supervising Producer, Christina Aguilera鈥檚 TRACKS as Supervising Producer, revamp FOX鈥檚 Teen Choice Awards as Co-Executive Producer, and develop NBC鈥檚 newest music show, Songland.

Catherine Lewis聽Catherine Lewis is an associate professor in the design program at Hostos Community College in the South Bronx, New York. Her personal creative practice includes fiber arts and works on paper.
