Since 1986,ÌıBiochemistry at the University of babyÖ±²¥app Boulder hasÌıofferedÌıa world-class interdisciplinary research, education, and training environment in a beautiful mountain setting. Currently, the Biochemistry DepartmentÌıhas over 140 researchers, including 21 tenure-trackÌıbabyÖ±²¥app, 1 research babyÖ±²¥app, 2 teaching professors, ~75 Ph.D. students, ~42 postdocs and scientists,Ìı~29Ìıtechnical staff, and 7 administrative staff. There are ~400 undergraduate BiochemistryÌımajors, many whoÌıperform undergraduate research.

The Biochemistry Department is renowned for its research. The babyÖ±²¥app include aÌıNobel Laureate, 5Ìımembers of the National Academy of Sciences, 3 Howard Hughes Investigators, and many other esteemed scientists who have established themselves as research leaders.ÌıIn 2022, the BiochemistryÌıDepartment had external awards of $39,797,430 and during fromÌı2010-2016 the department published over 800 articlesÌıin scholarly journals. Overwhelmingly, these papers include graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and undergraduates as coauthors.Ìı
