Which Payment Method Should I Choose?

 

The payment method you use depends primarily on whether your payment source is in the U.S. or not. See the tables below for examples and at-a-glance service fees.

Payment Timelines

If your payment source (bank transfer or credit/debit card) is in the United States, your payment is received instantly and you can access course materials immediately in most cases. Please see Late, Returned or Canceled Payments and Financial Holds for more information. 

If your payment source is outside the U.S., the payment timeline depends on you (the student), your chosen payment type, the country you're paying from and your bank (if you're making a bank transfer). Other factors may apply as well.

Timeline for Flywire Payments

This timeline applies to enrollment and payment for CU Boulder degree programs on Coursera.

  1. Complete the enrollment form and initiate payment in Flywire.
  2. babyÖ±²¥app 30 minutes later, you will receive a "Payment Initiated" email from Flywire.
  3. If you're paying by bank transfer, go to your bank to send the funds as soon as possible (on the same day or the day) after you initiate payment. Any delays in completing this step will result in delays in the payment process and subsequent delays in accessing course material. (Payments expire 8 days after initiation, if no action is taken.)
    If you're not paying by bank transfer, this step does not apply.
  4. Next, you will receive an email from Flywire stating that you have completed your part of the process. 
  5. Then, you will receive an email from the Office of the Registrar at CU Boulder confirming your enrollment request and payment submission, along with next steps on how to access course materials.
  6. It will take 2–3 business days for your payment to show in your account in .
