In this talk, 40 out of the 50 attendees were students. Jason discussed the data that he and others have gathered in connection with the Legion Project. The Legion project is an attempt to increase discussion of non-academic jobs (https://eidolon.pub/classicists-your-name-is-legion-a633f8897b0a). Thousands of individuals spend years studying the ancient languages and go on to pursue very different and exciting careers. The Legion Project tracks down these individuals and creates a community of Classicists outside of academia. The project has been incredibly successful ( and represents proof that studying Classics can lead to a variety of professional success. Such a project also increases awareness of the relevance of Classics in the modern world, a worthy enterprise as enrollments in Greek and Latin decline.

The Center for Western Civilization, Thought and Policy funds research and educational initiatives that contribute to critical reflection on the development of Western civilization. All CU Boulder baby直播app and students are eligible to apply. If you are interested in applying for a CWCTP baby直播app grant, deadlines are rolling throughout the year.
