Deliberative Engagement Across Difference
This two-year project will develop new measure to assess quality engagement across social and political differences. The project brings together an interdisciplinary team of scholars and practitioners from CDE (formerly BoulderTalks) and CUEngage.
The team is funded by a $400,000 grant from the Spencer Foundation's New Civics Initiative, which funds research on how education can support civic and political development among students, and a $50,000 grant from the Hewlett Foundation's Deeper Learning initiative.
