Dr. Cinnamon Bidwell is a clinical psychologist specializing in the translational research of cannabis and cannabinoid effects on behavioral health. Her extensive research addresses the acute and chronic impacts of cannabis and other substances on psychological and physical health across the lifespan. Dr. Bidwell's expertise spans drug dependence, human development, neurobehavior, behavioral genetics, and co-occurring psychiatric disorders.

With a robust background in human laboratory, observational, and clinical studies, Dr. Bidwell investigates the effects of cannabis, cannabinoids, alcohol, and nicotine. Her research aims to uncover the underlying factors that contribute to the successful clinical treatment of psychiatric and substance use disorders. Currently, she examines the neuropharmacological and behavioral impacts of cannabinoids, focusing on their abuse potential and therapeutic benefits, within psychiatric and medical populations.
