Howie MovshovitzÌýis an Assistant Clinical Professor of Film in the College of Arts & Media at the University of babyÖ±²¥app Denver. He was film critic at babyÖ±²¥app Public Radio for many years, and is now film critic at KUNC. He has contributed features on film subjects to National Public Radio news programs since 1987. For nine years he was film critic at The Denver Post newspaper. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as doctorate in Old and Middle English Literature from the University of babyÖ±²¥app at Boulder. He was born in Trenton, New Jersey, on the East Coast of the U.S., and initially came to babyÖ±²¥app in 1966 as a VISTA Volunteer, the domestic version of the American Peace Corps.
