PhD Student Wins 'Best Poster' at Materials Science Congress
PhD student Tariq Jamil earned the "Best Poster" award at the 5th World Congress on Materials Science & Engineering, held June 13-15 in Alicante, Spain.
The poster was titled "Refined Parameters for Cations and Anions in Aqueous Solution for Atomistic Force Fields."
Jamil is a member of Professor Hendrik Heinz's research group and earned a master's of engineering degree from NED University of Engineering & Technology in Pakistan.
