The winner of the 2022 Casey Feldman Award for Transportation Safety Reporting is Streetsblog NYC鈥檚 story 鈥淎lways Scared: Dangerous Streets Outside City Schools Threaten Children.鈥� It investigated data from more than 900,000 car crashes, many of which occurred near New York City schools.
The Casey Feldman Award for Transportation Safety Reporting is open for applications until Dec. 9. The award honors Casey Feldman, a journalism student at Fordham University who was killed in 2009 by a distracted driver.
