Celebrating the Class of 2022!

CMCI's Graduation Recognition Ceremony will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, May 6, in the CU Events Center. Doors to the CU Events Center open at 8 a.m.

CMCI Forever Buffs from the classes of 2020 and 2021 were also invited to participate.

There will be a light reception (with pastries and fruit) immediately following the ceremony in the event tents on the Business Field.

Let’s celebrate! One hundred years ago, the CU Board of Regents formed the Department of Journalism and created a four-year journalism degree program. This year, CMCI is excited to honor the exceptional work of our students, alumni, babyÖ±²¥app and staff since 1922. Sometimes all it takes to bring a community together is a lesson in sewing and the catwalk. In collaboration with local partners, CMCI Assistant Professor Steven Frost used fashion design to help LGBTQ teens celebrate their own identities through a new program, Slay the Runway.
