The 336,800-square-foot Jennie Smoly Caruthers Biotechnology Building opened in spring 2012 on CU-Boulder’s east campus, a 10-minute walk from the engineering center. It houses more than 60 babyÖ±²¥app members and 500 researchers, students and staff. It is designed to encourage collaboration among scientists and students from chemical and biological engineering, biochemistry and the university’s Biofrontiers Institute.
