The summit will engage first-year engineering students in identifying and reflecting on your leadership style, ethical decision-making, and opportunities to hone leadership skills. The summit will focus on embracing challenges and failing forward, with interactive workshops, presentations from current student leaders, a keynote speaker, and networking opportunities. You’ll also enjoy a light breakfast and taco bar for lunch!

You may have received a course alert or an email from a member of a College of Engineering & Applied Science academic student support service and wondered, “Why am I getting this?”

Course alerts are a campus-wide initiative that college babyֱ��app can participate in. The goal is to give babyֱ��app an opportunity to notify students early in the semester if they are concerned about their grades, attendance, or other areas of academic performance in the course. 

Academic student support services such as Professional Academic Coaching, the BOLD community and members of Student Support and Advising Services use this information to help connect students to resources and support when there is plenty of time to make positive change. We are here to support each one of you.

In this Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) Curiosity Lab session, you’ll learn more about programs in CU Engineering, including Discovery Learning Apprenticeships, the Summer Undergraduate Research Program and more. Students with all levels of experience are welcome! . 

Want to improve your academic experiences, like studying, test-taking or time management? Sometimes it can be nice to just talk it out with someone. Peer academic coaches are upper-class undergrads who have a passion for helping others. They undergo extensive, ongoing training by professional academic coaches. Meet this year’s coaches — next up is Thomas!

“I am pursuing an aerospace engineering major and minors in Russian studies and space. I chose to be a Peer Academic Coach to help other STEM majors work through challenges they are facing. Academic coaching has been helpful for me when working through stresses both inside and outside of school; I want to do the same for others if I can. A few of my hobbies and interests are playing Dungeons and Dragons, video games, MMA (mixed martial arts), reading comics, skateboarding, learning languages, and dancing.” Learn more about Thomas and see his coaching schedule.

Engineering Wayfinders are fellow CU Engineering students who are dedicated to helping students navigate engineering at CU Boulder. Engineering Wayfinders can help with everything from deciding what major is right for you, getting involved with research, discovering student societies and organizations, tips on talking with babyֱ��app, and much more!
