Spatial Justice Design Collective Research Assistantship
The environmental design Spatial Justice Design Collective (SJDC) has received a new outreach grant to develop a participatory design framework for small social institutions, like cafes, to challenge forms of racism that exist in their spaces. The SJDC will be hiring undergraduate research assistants this semester and next semester to help vision, plan and execute a participatory design project in collaboration with the Trident Booksellers and Cafe in downtown Boulder.
Students interested in learning more can contact shawhin@colorado.edu for details. A formal research assistantship job posting will be circulated in the coming weeks. Applicants will be required to submit two professional/academic references, an 800-word statement of interest, a CV and a portfolio.
