2019-2020 Graduate Excellence Awards

The United Government of Graduate Student (UGGS) is pleased to announce a call for nominations for the annual Graduate Teaching Excellence Awards and Outstanding Research Assistant Award for 2019-2020

Nomination Procedures:

  • Anyone who is not a student of the nominee during the semester of nomination may nominate graduate students for the Teaching Excellence Award (TEA) or Outstanding Research Assistant Award (ORAA). This includes self-nominations.

  • Any member of the CU Boulder community familiar with a Graduate Student鈥檚 performance may nominate that Graduate Student for the TEA or the ORAA.

  • Nominations may only be accepted for individuals. Nominations that include multiple nominees will not be accepted. If a nominator or group of nominators wishes to submit nominations for multiple people, they must do so by submitting multiple, distinct, non-repetitive forms or documents.

 

Graduate Teaching Excellence Award: This competitive award recognizes the teaching-related work of graduate students inside the classroom and beyond. The awardees will be publicly announced. The award also consists of a monetary prize of 400 dollars.

Graduate Outstanding Research Award: This competitive award recognizes the contributions of graduate students to both the research content and community. The awardees will be publicly announced. The award also consists of a monetary prize of 400 dollars.
