Boulder Renaissance Consort Anniversary Concert
The Boulder Renaissance Consort is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a concert that features 鈥淪omething Old, Something New.鈥
Three former members of the group are returning to perform two of the 鈥渙ld,鈥 previously performed pieces on the program, Palestrina鈥檚 鈥Sicut cervus鈥 and Isaac鈥檚 鈥Tota pulchra.鈥 Other selections from past repertoire include English love madrigals and a set of the consort鈥檚 own arrangements of the original medieval 鈥Carmina Burana.鈥
For 鈥淪omething New,鈥 the consort has chosen French chansons, Italian madrigals and dances, a Banchieri motet, and a capriccio by Cima.
