Analyze. Design. Inform.

Explore the human side of data. Information Science considers the relationships between people, places and technology, as well as the data that results from those interactions. Our interdisciplinary approach draws on social science, the humanities, and computer science, allowing us not only to imagine what today鈥檚 technology makes possible, but to invent new things society can do with technology. Our graduates will have the conceptual machinery and practical skills to effect change in a future characterized by new ways of working, communicating and creating.

Pencils down. Laptops up.

From day one you will be hands-on in our foundations courses, learning the skills needed to work with information at the scale and speed of today鈥檚 technology and data. As an undergraduate student in Information Science, you learn to collect, analyze, interpret and use the data that shapes our world. You鈥檒l study the way people interact with all things digital. By the time you graduate, you鈥檒l be able to create engaging social and technological solutions to real problems faced in industry, the public sector, and research institutions.

Inform your future.

Data analysts, user experience and interaction designers, data scientists, information analysts, and business consultants. These are just a few of the careers that await you. Through information science, you will gain the skill needed to work on the topics that matter to you. From journalism to music to healthcare, you will gain tools to address problems that matter to you. By applying your new knowledge, you鈥檒l address real problems and create an impact on our society.

Experience from the real world.

With our baby直播app鈥檚 experience, collaborations, and connections to the biggest names in industry, you鈥檒l never have to ask if you will use this in the real world.  Our baby直播app share their real world experiences from Google, Facebook, Microsoft, IBM, Twitter, Intel, and Tableau, just to name a few.
