QASE BannerActive participation from industry, government and academia brought applied quantum technology听into focus at CU Boulder in November 2017.听听

The first annual听Quantum Applied Science and Engineering (QASE)听workshop created a venue to exchange ideas on how to move applied quantum tech听forward and to supply input into the direction for the new quantum initiative at CU Boulder.

Participants represented a variety of different sectors, including:

  • Defense
  • Aerospace
  • Telecommunications
  • Computer manufacturers
  • Supply chain manufacturers
  • Government agencies (e.g. NIST, NASA)
  • CU Boulder baby直播app from Engineering and Physics

CU Boulder听used the valuable input recorded from the workshop to further define the direction of the initiative, which would eventually become CUbit in January 2019.
