  • (He|Him|His)
  • Coordinator for Late Night Programs

Hello, my name is Michael Vorwald (he/him/his) and I am the Coordinator for Late Night Programs in the Center for Student Involvement. I have been at CU since August 2022, and I am in charge of facilitating various CSI programs throughout the year which includes Buffalo Nites, Buffs After Dark, Student Gameday Huddles, Late-Night Breakfast, and CSI Ticket Giveaways (e.g. Nuggets tickets, Rockies tickets, etc.). I also serve as a staff advisor for Program Council (PC Marketing Department) and CUSG Homecoming Coalition and I am the CSI Liaison for the RSO category of Arts, Music, and Entertainment. As a contextualizer and maximizer, I aim to make sure CSI is reflective in assessing our accomplishments and priorities to ensure that we are always adapting to best fit the needs of our students across all the great programs and initiatives that we are a part of within the Division of Student Affairs.

For a little bit about myself, I am originally from the Chicagoland area, and I am a graduate of Michigan State University (Bachelor of Arts in History Education) and Northwestern University (Master of Science in Higher Education Administration and Policy). When I'm not at work, I like to spend time outdoors whether it be hiking, biking, or even going out for a nice long walk. I'm also a big-time baseball nerd who loves watching the Cubs and Rockies (along with rooting for the Bears, Blackhawks, Bulls, and Nuggets within other sports). If I were a superhero, my superpower would be teleportation so that I can always quickly arrive to help when needed (and be able to easily travel the world in my spare time). My favorite place on campus is Farrand Field, especially on a nice, sunny day while taking in the awesome view of the Flatirons off in the distance.
