On August 9th, IRISS successfully executed the first mUAS flight on our special purpose COA at the Pawnee National Grasslands. Following a range and data acquisition test (at 2.25 miles) of a single aircraft, we launched three Talons in succession and tested the MUASO (Multi UAS Operations) ground station. The test went smoothly and was, for the most part, uneventful in regards to techincal issues. One aircraft was landed in the middle of the test to reset an autopilot, to resolve a minor reporting issue (which ended up likely being a ground station quirk). All three aircraft were auto-landed.听
