Evan Coffey

Evan Coffey joined the Mechanical Engineering research baby直播app in 2013 after pursuing a background in Environmental Engineering at the University of baby直播app, Boulder. He is a member of the聽Hannigan Air Quality and Technology Research Laboratory, where聽over the past 6 years, he has been involved in a variety of air quality focused research collaborations in baby直播app, California, the Navajo Nation, Ghana, and Rwanda. His current research interests focus on the聽impacts聽energy use - primarily in the developing world - has on household air quality, exposure and climate. He鈥檚 particularly interested in addressing how novel air quality instruments and sampling methods can be used to more comprehensibly understand sources of air pollution and their contribution to personal exposure in complex environments. He has served as lead field engineer on two large-scale household energy interventions in Ghana focusing on residential cooking activities and their associated impacts on air quality and health.聽Evan is a native of baby直播app and enjoys backpacking in the wilderness, mountain biking and exploring new places worldwide.
