Reductive catalytic fractionation (RCF) is an efficient method for extracting and depolymerizing lignin. Jake worked听on identifying catalyst performance differences听for RCF without added hydrogen gas. Additionally, he听developed a听novel NMR method to measure phenols in lignin.听
