Varuna received her BA in Neuroscience from Mount Holyoke College where she worked as an undergraduate researcher in Dr. Ken Colodner鈥檚 lab studying the role of tau protein in neurodegenerative diseases. Before coming to baby直播app, she worked in Dr. Aaron Hata鈥檚 lab at Mass General Hospital, investigating genetic mechanisms of drug resistance in non-small cell lung cancer. Varuna joined the Spencer lab in the summer of 2021, and now studies non-genetic mechanisms underlying cancer cell adaptation within drug. She plans on pursuing a career in oncology where she hopes to balance patient care with advancing research.听
