Sasha听Neefe joined the group听in Fall 2022 as a Ph.D. student in the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department at CU Boulder. She earned a B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Lafayette College with a minor in environmental studies, where she researched the interesterification of biodiesel as well as energies of separations using organic solvent reverse osmosis and distillation systems.听Sasha听worked as a post-baccalaureate intern at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, baby直播app studying lignin valorization for one year before starting her project at CU Boulder in Dr. Anthony Straub's and Dr. Michael Toney's laboratories. Currently, she is focusing on understanding the local behavior of ions within ion exchange membranes by utilizing advanced materials characterization methods and synchrotron听radiation facilities.听Sasha听hopes to incorporate outreach activities regarding energy and environmental justice into her research efforts while at CU. In her free time,听Sasha听enjoys skiing, hiking, biking, kayaking, and seeing as much live music as possible!
