To schedule your vaccine appointment

Log in to Medicat with your CU Boulder Login Name and Identikey Password. Press Continue.

Select the “Appts” option in the top left-hand corner.

In the Departments and Services box, choose “COVID-19 Vaccine” and press the Submit button.

For “please select the reason you are seeking an appointment,” choose “COVID-19 Vaccine” and press the Submit button.

When searching for next available appointments:

For Group Appointments select “No”

For clinic select “Medical Services”

For reason select “COVID-19 vaccine”

Once your appointment is scheduled, you will automatically receive two appointment confirmation emails from the scheduling system. Your vaccine appointment instructions will be included in the confirmation message titled “You have an appointment for your COVID-19 Vaccine on (Appointment Date) at (Appointment Time).” Please disregard the other appointment confirmation message that is used for all other Medical Services appointments.

Checking in for your appointment

You can complete the online check-in process up to four hours in advance.

You will not be permitted to enter the building until five minutes before your scheduled appointment time to minimize crowding in the clinic area.
What to bring to your appointment

A mask/face covering will be required at all times.

Bring personal identification to your scheduled appointment. You may be asked to show your employer-provided name badge/credentials (such as your Buff OneCard), or personal identification such as a driver’s license.

If possible, please bring a paper or electronic version of this email with you to your appointment.
What to expect during your appointment

The appointment will take approximately 30-60 minutes.

Once you receive the vaccine, you will be asked to wait in an observation area for 15-30 minutes, depending on your medical history.

If applicable, your appointment to receive your second dose of the vaccine will be scheduled before you leave.

CU Boulder is eligible to receive the,,vaccines at no cost to you, and no insurance information is needed.
The campus is unable to control which vaccine will be received at any given time. We encourage you to talk with your primary care provider if you have questions about the vaccines.
If you are able to receive a vaccine through your primary care provider or other health care facility before you are notified by CU Boulder, we encourage you to take advantage of your first opportunity.
