Having possessed a passion for quantum physics since high school, I opted to switch to physics education research upon witnessing the impact of physics education practices (both positive and negative) on my personal development as a researcher. I am currently in the early stages of developing a validated assessment for the measurement of student learning in quantum information science courses. Beyond my academic research, I am actively interested in and write about physics culture and approaches to institutional change informed by social science and critical theory. Outside of physics, I enjoy martial arts, board games, and hanging out with my two cats.
