Safety Alert: Unlawful sexual contact reported at Farrand Field concert

On Saturday, Aug. 24, 2019, at approximately 10:35 p.m., the CU Boulder Police Department (“CUPD”) was notified of a report of an unlawful sexual contact that occurred at the Welcomefest concert on Business Field. The victim indicated that a man approached her from behind, grabbed her by the waist and pulled her into his pelvic region. The suspect also allegedly reached up her shirt and grabbed her breast before she was able to get away.

The suspect is described as:

  • Tall male, approximately 6’ 2”
  • Unknown skin or hair color
  • Muscular
  • Not wearing a shirt

CUPD is currently investigating the incident. It is possible that there may have been other victims of similar crimes.
