Safety Alert Update: Burglaries, theft reported inside residence halls
After reviewing additional surveillance video from recent residence hall burglaries, the CU Police Department has new information to add to yesterday鈥檚 message on thefts and other crimes in Aden, Brackett, Cockerell and Crosman residence halls.听
Investigators have determined that women鈥檚 underwear was stolen from the laundry room of a residence hall.
As a reminder, the suspect is described as:
- White male in his 20s
- Brown hair and brown beard
- Wearing glasses
He has been seen multiple times wearing a black baseball cap. Embedded in this email is a photograph of him leaving one of the halls.
If you see him, please do not try to stop him, but call 911. CUPD will be increasing patrols in the area.
Additionally, a woman reported that a man may have taken photos or video of a female student while in the shower. Investigators have not determined if that suspect is the same one in the embedded photos.
