Graduated with MA in 2019.

I am an MA candidate in the Linguistics department. My scholarly interests include sociolinguistics and linguistic anthropology. Intersecting aspects of identity such as gender, race, and class are especially intriguing to me as well as power dynamics in language use. Recently I have been study agentivity in conversation in writing center consultation sessions with the goal of ascertaining best practices in order to increase the agency of student writers in this context.
