Research Interests

Dr. Kasprzyk leads group’s research that addresses how toÌıgenerateÌınew plans for engineering systems,ÌıevaluateÌıtheir performance,ÌıvisualizeÌıtrade-offs between multiple objectives, andÌınegotiateÌırobust alternatives. The approach is multidisciplinary, combining tools from computer science, engineering, babyÖ±²¥apps, and the natural sciences. We use multiobjective evolutionary algorithms (MOEAs), quantitative environmental models, and high-performance computing in our work. The ultimate goal is to improve the long-term sustainability of water supply and other systems by advancing many objective risk-based design techniques that consider uncertainty and emerging environmental pressures.
