Fitness Court

The outdoor Fitness Court, located on the east side of the Main Student Recreation Center, is an outdoor body weight circuit training center designed for adults of all ages and abilities and is fully accessible. The Fitness Court is open to the public and no membership is required.

The number of people permitted on the court will be determined by the type of class being offered.

No. We are not reserving the Fitness Court beyond Rec Center fitness classes.

Only Rec Center personal training staff and clients are permitted to use the Fitness Court for training sessions. Learn more about training services available at the Rec Center.

No. Per CU policy only service animals (not therapy animals) are permitted.

No. At this time fitness classes offered on the Fitness Court are free for anyone with a Buff OneCard.

Yes! The Fitness Court is available for drop-in use by alumni and community members. No Rec Center membership required.

Please report any damage or concerns to our Guest Services staff at the front desk.

No. The Fitness Court is open 24/7, year round.  We advise that you use caution when elements may be hot, wet or icy. We do not recommned using the Fitness Court under extreme weather conditions.

Manufacturer guidelines advise that users be a minimum of 14 years old.

Yes! The court has been designed to meet ADA requirements. There is an ADA ramp located on the northeast side of the court.

No. These will damage the Fitness Court surface and are not safe for use on the Fitness Court.
