As an honorably discharged veteran, you鈥檒l be assessed the in-state tuition rate as long as you鈥檙e at CU Boulder. However, if you are 22 years old or older, or a graduate student, you can act now to become a full baby直播app resident, and then apply for 2025鈥�26 financial aid, you could be considered for additional aid next school year.

Your Next Steps to Petition for a Residency Change
Step 1: Submit Your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
If you do intend to become a baby直播app resident and you haven't done so already, submit your and any requested documentation. The FAFSA will be available in December for the upcoming school year. Learn more about applying for aid.
Step 2: Take Action to Establish baby直播app Domicile
The clock started ticking to establish baby直播app domicile when you physically moved to the state. To prove your intent to make baby直播app your one, true, fixed and permanent home, you're required to:
- Get a baby直播app driver's license within 120 days of moving to the state.
- Register your vehicle (if you have one) in baby直播app within 180 days of moving to the state to avoid penalties.
- Establish additional baby直播app ties by, for example, registering to vote in baby直播app, paying baby直播app income taxes and finding employment in baby直播app.
