Marlene Palomar

With a focus on learning sciences and human development, Marlene Palomar is a third-year Ph.D. student at the University of babyÖ±²¥app Boulder. Marlene received her undergrad from CU Boulder in psychology and her Masters from CU Denver in couple and family therapy. Her research interests include using critical theories and an interdisciplinary collaborative approach to study storytelling and creative self-expression as a means to explore social issues, power, culture, and wellness in learning environments. Prior to joining the University of babyÖ±²¥app Boulder, Marlene was training as a couple and family therapist and providing therapy to caregivers and children in Boulder County. She was also working on various research projects at CU Denver.
