Broader impacts are one of two criteria used by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to evaluate every grant proposal. Increasingly, funders are placing a greater emphasis on broader and societal impacts. As a PI, describing the broader societal impact of your research and achieving specific educational outcomes can be challenging. Luckily, CU Boulder is overflowing with resources to help you with broader impacts plans, efforts听and activities.
