Staff Council is excited to announce that representative nominations are now open through February 14th for the 2023-24 academic year.

On behalf of the entire Council, we would like to thank everyone who took the time to vote. It is primarily through the process of representation that your fellow staff can advocate for you, and voting is key to that process.

We are deeply grateful to all the candidates willing to take the time and make the effort to be involved! If you were not elected there are still powerful ways you can contribute your positive energy to the staff of CU Boulder. All Staff Council committees are open for any staff member to join. When vacancies arise due to new job assignments, the Council is tasked with appointing new representatives. Staff who choose to join committees become part of the pool from which new representatives, with full voting privileges, are chosen.

El Consejo del Personal (Staff Council) está buscando Personal de Primera Línea (Front Line Staff) para formar parte de nuestro equipo y para servir/aportar en el rol de Representante de los Empleados de Primera Línea.

El rol del Representante Elegido del Personal de Primera Línea fue creado para ayudar a minimizar las barreras para el personal de primera linea quienes estén interesados en servir en El Consejo del Personal (Staff Council) y abogar por los intereses y necesidades de los empleados de primera linea del campus de CU Boulder.

Boulder Campus Staff Council elections are officially in progress! Every spring you have the opportunity to elect CU Boulder staff members interested in representing your voice. As liaisons between staff and campus administration, Staff Council members act as a conduit for communicating your needs and ideas and advocating for policies that positively impact CU Boulder staff. Voting for Staff Council is one way to ensure you are well-represented.

Ballot links were sent to each staff member on Tuesday, March 2, and each ballot is tied to your unique CU email. The first thing you will be prompted to do is locate your area, which is a quick and easy process that takes about 30 seconds.

Please look for that email in your inbox, and do not forget to vote! If you cannot find the email with your link, please email scouncil@colorado.edu and we will resend you your link.

Please be aware, elections will close at midnight on Tuesday, March 23. We thank you for your time, and we look forward to announcing election results in mid-May!

CU Boulder Staff Council is calling on you to consider serving your fellow staff by nominating yourself, or one of your colleagues, for a three-year elected term on the council. Service entails a minimum commitment of five to seven hours per month, so it is wise to speak with your supervisor beforehand about how this may impact your work unit. Additionally, due to COVID-19, the term may be partially or completely carried out virtually over Zoom until normal activities resume. Take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the Staff Council website. If you are passionate about making a positive impact on campus, look for the nomination form arriving in your inbox on February 2nd and get involved.
