Sociology Professor Gary T. Marx of the University of baby直播app at Boulder has been named a 1997-98 Fellow of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.
The fellowships are among the most coveted and competitive in the social sciences and humanities and are offered only to about 3 percent of all applicants. Marx will continue his work on the social implications of new information technologies.
The center was created by Congress in 1968 as the nation's official memorial to commemorate both the scholarly depth and the public concerns of Woodrow Wilson. Through a program of advanced research and public dialogue, it seeks to foster communication between the world of learning and the world of public affairs.
