Youngsters who would like to design their own home page on the World Wide Web or explore the wild for birds of prey can do that and more through Science Discovery, an outreach program of the University of baby直播app at Boulder.

Registration is now under way for the program聮s after-school enrichment courses, offered in all fields of science for students ages 4 through 16.

Courses, which run for 5-week sessions, are taught by specially qualified instructors and held at various campus locations. Most weekday classes begin at 3:45 p.m. and end at 5-5:15 p.m.

Winter offerings, which begin the week of Jan. 26, include The After-School (Wolf) Pack, Crime Lab, Home Sweet Home (for animals), The Moons of Jupiter, Animals and Art 1, Design Your Homepage and Birds of Prey. A course on astronomy is already full.

Spring offerings, which start the week of March 30, include Destination Mars, Lego Mechanics 2, Lasers and Lights, Kids聮 Chemistry, and Animals and Art 2. Rockets for Junior Astronauts and Jr. Science Explorers are already full.

Science Discovery also is offering a 聯Spring Break Adventure,聰 the week of March 23-27. Children will journey to the Butterfly Pavilion, have a scavenger hunt at the CU Museum, see a show at Fiske Planetarium and participate in other science-related activities.
