The CU-Boulder Martin Luther King Day Celebration Committee, the United Campus Ministries and the Boulder Interfaith Council will host the 5th annual campus Martin Luther King Day Celebration on Monday, Jan. 19, at 8 p.m. in the Old Main Chapel.
The celebration represents a unique learning opportunity for all CU-Boulder students, baby直播app and staff, according to Alphonse Keasley, director of the Minority Arts and Sciences Program.
The program will cover a retrospective of events during the civil rights movement, the origin of the holiday, singing from campus and community groups, a community interactive for renewing commitment to social justice, and an inspirational message from a member of the United Campus Ministries, Keasley said.
Participants will be reminded of these words by Martin Luther King, 聯All life is interrelated. All men are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny.聰
