With about 20,000 people expected to attend University of baby直播app at Boulder commencement exercises May 15 at 9:30 a.m. in Folsom Stadium, carpooling and alternative transportation are recommended for anyone planning to be on campus.
The Hop and Skip shuttles and RTD buses will be on regular schedules that day.
Visitors are advised to arrive early because many parking spaces will be occupied by staff and baby直播app during regular working hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the first day of summer hours.
To accommodate parking needs of the disabled, regular permit holders in four lots have been asked to park in alternative locations. Affected lots are 360 next to Duane Physics, 378 next to Folsom Stadium, 390 behind Dal Ward Athletic Center and 391 northeast of the stadium. Permit holders in lots 360 and 378 may park on Franklin Field or in lot 358 next to Libby and Brackett Halls on May 15 only.
Staff and baby直播app who have permits for people with disabilities in the four affected lots will not be asked to park their vehicles elsewhere.
Parking also will be allowed on the football practice field off Folsom Street just north of Boulder Creek, weather permitting.
Commencement parking for the elderly and disabled will be in lots 360 and 378 with drop-off and pickup at the southeast side of the stadium on baby直播app Avenue. No parking permits are required and anyone with special needs should inform the parking attendants that close-in parking is required.
People in wheelchairs are encouraged to enter the stadium through gates 1 or 6 where wheelchair seating is available, and three to four rows of seats around the south end of the stadium will be reserved for guests who have difficulty climbing stairs.
Most of the parking spaces available to visitors will be in the Regent Drive Autopark/lot 436 on Regent Drive near baby直播app Avenue. Parking will be free at all metered spaces; regular fees will be charged at the Euclid Avenue Autopark.
The ceremony is scheduled to end before 11 a.m.
