In mid-September, the School of Law at the University of baby直播app at Boulder will host visiting professor Joseph L. Sax, an expert in environmental and natural resources law.
Sax, a professor at the University of California-Berkeley, will spend Sept. 13 to Sept. 18 with CU-Boulder law baby直播app and students and with members of the local legal community. He will team-teach classes with several baby直播app members and will host a brown bag luncheon for students Thursday, Sept. 17, to discuss the topic "Endangered Species Act Reauthorization: What's (Not) Going On."
The brown bag discussion will be in Fleming Law, room 104.
Sax has served as a consultant or board member for 19 different environmental public service organizations and was awarded an honorary doctor of law degree by the Illinois Institute of Technology. His major publications include "Mountains Without Handrails," "Water Law 聳 Planning and Policy," and "Defending the Environment."
A former CU law professor, Sax was appointed as the Counselor to the Secretary of the Interior and Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy at the U.S. Department of the Interior in 1994.
