Bill Reynolds, owner of the W.W. Reynolds Cos. in Boulder, and his wife, Jane, have given a $1 million gift to the University of baby直播app at Boulder聮s College of Business and Administration.
The Reynolds, along with their sons John and Forrest and Bill聮s father, Vergyl, all have degrees from CU.
The gift will be used to supplement graduate and undergraduate programs at the Real Estate Center at the College of Business, including the academic internship program -- the undergraduate capstone course for a certificate in real estate.
The Reynolds聮 gift also will support the new Land Use Center of baby直播app housed in the Real Estate Center.
Dipankar Chakravarti, interim dean of the College of Business, said that Reynolds聮 gift comes at a dynamic and exciting time for the college. "The real estate program is making strong progress and is taking its place as an important center that links and supports the college聮s core programs in accounting, finance, marketing, management and information systems," he said. "This gift will enable the real estate program to become even more responsive to the needs and desires of our students and our state."
A longtime Boulder County real estate developer, Reynolds is responsible for projects including the Pearl East Business Park, Westwood Condominiums and the Table Mesa and Sunrise shopping centers. He is a member and past chairman of the Real Estate Council, the governing board of the center. He was the center聮s 1997 Person of the Year and received the Distinguished Business Service Award in 1996 from the College of Business.
"Bill has been making a difference in this community and this college for years," said Byron Koste, Real Estate Center director. "This most recent donation, along with his generous gift of time, gives our growing program the support it needs."
