Editors: The Diversity Seminars are not open to the public or the press but coordinators are happy to discuss the program with reporters.
Students, staff and baby直播app at the University of baby直播app at Boulder are invited to attend the 12th annual Diversity Awareness Seminar, sponsored by the Multicultural Development Team. The seminar offers an experiential educational opportunity to examine diversity and multiculturalism.
Sessions will be held Mondays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the University Memorial Center, room 305, on Feb. 7, 14, 21, 28 and March 6 and March 13.
Multicultural Development Team members Brian Shimamoto, Beverly Tuel and Gina Kozik-Rosabal will lead the seminar, which takes a broad approach to diversity and can help employees meet their departmental goals for diversity.
According to Tuel, participants will learn more about themselves and others and discover the interconnections between race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age and religious and class diversity. Connections between individuals and the university also will be explored.
Seating is limited. To RSVP, contact Isabel Dunn at (303) 492-6766. The deadline for registration is Feb. 1.
