Gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered students at the University of baby直播app at Boulder will participate in the "Leadership Growing Beyond 2000: LGBT baby直播app Statewide Leadership Conference," Feb. 4-6 at baby直播app State University.
The conference is a collaborative effort by GLBT resource centers from universities in baby直播app and Wyoming to bring student leaders together. Organizers said the conference is an opportunity for students to learn and grow as activists and to create regional networks with other GLBT students and advocates.
Several CU-Boulder undergraduate and graduate students will present skill and personal development workshops at the conference, along with other regional students, baby直播app, staff, community members and student affairs professionals.
The registration fee is $20 per person, which includes two nights lodging and three meals. Students can ask an organization to sponsor their fee or may contact Randy McCrillis for scholarship information at (970) 491-4760. The e-mail address is rmccrill@lama.colostate.edu. The GLBT Resource Center also will cover the registration fee for CU students needing financial assistance.

The GLBT Resource Center provides information and referral services, educational, cultural and social programming and advocacy for the GLBT communities on the CU-Boulder campus. It also provides networking opportunities for GLBT groups on and off campus.
