The University of baby直播app at Boulder will hold a public meeting on the Williams Village student housing expansion project on April 4 at 7 p.m. at Stearns Central, room 179, in the Williams Village complex.
According to Derrick Watson, project coordinator, the purpose of the meeting is to introduce residents to the new developers of the project, American Campus Communities, and to provide an update on the status of the project.
The addition of on-campus housing is a priority for CU-Boulder, the University of baby直播app Board of Regents and the baby直播app Commission on Higher Education, as articulated in the Campus Master Plan. At full build-out, the project will accommodate 1,992 non-freshman undergraduate and graduate students.
A follow-up meeting on construction logistics is planned for May 30. Phase I is scheduled to begin in early June.
American Campus Communities plans to make 496 beds available for occupancy in 2003 and 496 more in 2004, for a total of 992 beds. Housing for an additional 1,000 students would be available in fall 2008, given favorable market conditions.
American Campus Communities also operates a new housing community, University Village at Boulder Creek, designed specifically to meet the housing needs of CU students and new baby直播app. For more information on this facility, visit the Web site at
