Executives looking to fine-tune their management skills can immerse themselves in cutting-edge business courses during a 12-day program at CU-Boulder. The baby直播app Executive Development in Residence program takes place July 23 through Aug. 4 at the College of Business.

"This program is for the businessperson and technical professional who wants to hone his or her business skills but doesn't have the time for an entire MBA curriculum," said CU-Boulder Professor Richard Wobbekind. The program is conducted two weeks each summer for three consecutive years.

CEDIR educates managers on recent changes in the business world. Award-winning CU professors cover areas such as "Leading and Managing in Changing Times," "Management of Technology and Innovation" and "Hiring and Retaining Critical Employees." CEDIR also covers fundamentals such as "Accounting for Non-Financial Managers" and "New Product/Service Development."

Classes are small and interactive, emphasizing discussion and case studies. Out-of-state participants will reside on campus during the program.

Sun Microsystems and other local and national organizations have committed employees for the inaugural CEDIR class developed by Wobbekind and CU-Boulder Professor Stephen Lawrence. Spots in the program are still available.
