The University of baby直播app at Boulder School of Law will hold its 20th Annual Alumni Awards Banquet on May 5 at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities.
The ceremony, which will honor alumni for "distinguished achievement," begins with dinner at 5:30 p.m. followed by the presentation of awards an hour later. Dean Hal Bruff will open the program and Don P. Brown, Jr. ('89), chair of the Law Alumni Board, will be the master of ceremonies.
Folllowing are this year's recipients:
Boulder resident Donald Bross ('75) is a professor of pediatrics in family law at the University of baby直播app School of Medicine and Director of Education and Legal Counsel for the Kempe Children's Center.
Richard W. Dana ('66) is a member of the American Bar Association, the baby直播app Bar Association and the State Bar of New Mexico. He became a Boulder County Court judge in 1972 and was appointed to the Boulder County District Court bench in 1975. Dana hails from Dumont, Colo., and works in Denver.
The Honorable Claudia J. Jordan ('80), a Denver resident, has been a Denver County Judge since 1994 and was the first African-American female judge in the state of baby直播app. She is currently a member of the Sam Cary Bar Association, Denver Bar Association, the baby直播app Bar Association and the baby直播app Women's Bar Association.
Richard V. Lopez ('91) of Boulder is a member of the baby直播app Hispanic Bar Association (CHBA) and was the 1995 CHBA Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year. He is on the CU Fine Arts Gallery Advisory Board, the board of directors of the Dairy Center for the Performing Arts and the Boulder Urban Renewal Authority.
Victor Quinn ('55) is a member of the Denver, baby直播app and American Bar Associations, a partner of the law firm Cockrell, Quinn & Creighton and member of the National Association of Public Pension Attorneys. He served as president of the Law Club of Denver from 1970-71 and as an elected member of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel in 1977. He currently lives in Englewood and works in Denver.
David D. Wymore ('76), of Boulder, has been the chief trial Deputy Public Defender in Denver since 1982. He was awarded the baby直播app Criminal Defense Bar's annual Jonathon Olom Award in 1997 and was featured in the March 1997 issue of The American Lawyer for his work in defending death penalty cases.
